BETA WAVES 13 hz – 39 hz

during a busy, active day, busy thinking active concetration, arousal, cognition, paranoia. Beta is identified with active, busy or anxious thinking and active concentration. A healthy beta state allows you to think quickly and improve your focus. But too much time in the beta state can cause anxiety, stress, and paranoia, which can lead to muscle tension, depression, high blood pressure, and insomnia, among other sleep disturbances and health problems. While too much time in beta is obviously not good, a lack of sufficient beta activity can also cause mental or emotional disorders such as depression, ADD and insomnia. In such cases stimulating beta activity can improve emotional stability, energy levels, attentiveness and concentration.

ALPHA WAVES 8 hz – 12 hz

Alpha frequencies (Meditate with eyes open or closed) Develop greater stress resilience and lower anxiety levels Better focus, reading and study Calming of the emotional and physical system such as heart rates Improved creativity and meditation skills. When we begin to relax or begin to get drowsy, but are still awake and conscious, we are at the alpha level. Alpha patterns vary from deep alpha, a state of deep relaxation, (often referred to as the twilight state between sleep and waking) to the higher end of alpha that is a more focused, yet still a very relaxed state. Alpha is a very receptive, absorbent mental state and can be used for effective self-hypnosis, reprogramming the sub conscious, accelerated learning and more. When you spend more time in Alpha state, you find it easier to tap into your higher levels of creativity and expression. Light relaxation,  super learning positive thinking, Conducive to creative problem solving, accelerated learning, mood elevation, stress reduction, etc., relaxed, yet alert. Associated with calm, relaxed, unfocused (not concentrating), lucid mental states, dream sleep & pleasant drifting feelings or emotions; promotes mental resourcefulness, aids in mental coordination, enhances relaxation.

THETA WAVES 4hz – 7hz

Theta frequencies (Meditate with eyes closed) Support to the immune system and healing process. Deeper meditation and enhanced problem solving, Greater insight and creative flow Consolidation of information from short to long term memory. When we are asleep and have dreams, and experience rapid eye movement (REM), and even when we experience deep meditation, we are at the theta level. Theta is a dream like stage, pre-sleep or pre-awaken stage (or deep meditation stage). Theta is associated with a number of beneficial states such as: sustained attention over time, enhanced creativity, boosted immune system, increased long term memory, opening the mind to suggestion and new ideas, advanced problem solving, deep meditation and deep relaxation etc., In the slower theta brainwave pattern, the brain makes lots of relaxing endorphins that melt all your stress away. Access to subconscious images, deep meditation, reduced blood pressure, said to cure addictions; Reset the brain &  sodium potassium levels. Increases sex drive; found inner peace, mystical truths ,transforming, Military remote viewers operate in this range. Creativity, intuition, daydreaming, fantasizing, recollection, imagery, dreamlike, switching thoughts

DELTA WAVES 0,5 hz – 4 hz

Delta frequencies (Meditate with eyes closed). Enhanced meditation and expanded awareness, Physical and emotional healing and regeneration Increased feelings of connection and reduced opposition Cleansing of sub-conscious blockage Delta waves are usually associated with the unconscious and deep, slow brain activity found in deep sleep. At the delta level the body replenishes its energy, releases anti-aging hormones like human growth hormone (HGH*), relieves stress, and boosts the immune system. The delta state rejuvenates your mind, body, and spirit. When your dominant brainwave is delta, your body is healing itself and "resetting" its internal clocks so to speak. When we are in deep, dreamless sleep at the delta level the pituitary is stimulated to produce more HGH which is why we feel refreshed and replensished when we get a good nights sleep. The anti-aging properties of deep meditation come from the release of HGH when reaching the delta level during meditation.

Cymatics A Bridge to the Unseen World

Veritas_cymatics   – read in .pdf

Seeing sound with the CymaScope Sound is an invisible force that permeates every aspect of our lives. With the exception of music, many manmade sounds are jarring while the sounds of Nature tend to flow over  and around us like soothing waters, lifting our spirit, inspiring us, exciting us. Yet if we could see sound our world would be even more beautiful than we could imagine. It would be a world filledith shimmering holographic bubbles, each displaying a kaleidoscopic pattern on its surface. To see sound is to open a new window onto our world, one that has been veiled in mystery until recently.

To understand the concept of visual sound a little more fully it will be helpful to explore how the vibrating atoms of air that create sound relate to light and life. At the moment of these atomic sound collisions something quite magical happens: Light is created.

The Origin of Cymatics

Cymatics—the study of visible sound— can be traced back at least 1000 years to African tribes who used the taut skin of drums sprinkled with small grains to divine future events. The drum is one of the oldest  nown musical instruments and the effects of sand on a vibrating drumhead have probably been known for millennia. However, perhaps the first scientist to notice the phenomena was Leonardo Da Vinci. One day  e noticed dust behaving oddly on a wooden table: ‘I say then that when a table is struck in different places the dust that is upon it is reduced to various shapes of mounds and tiny hillocks. The dust descends from the hypotenuse of these hillocks, enters beneath their base and raises itself again around the axis of the point of the hillock.’ Hans Jenny, a Swiss medical doctor and scientist who studied visual soundintensively is most widely known as the“Father of Cymatics.” Jenny coined the  word kymatik, (‘cymatic’ in English) from the Greek ‘kyma’ meaning ‘wave,’ to describe the periodic effects that sound and vibration have on matter (even though, as we mentioned earlier, sound is not actually a wave!) His books are rich sources of cymatic imagery, which he observed and described in great detail, although he left scientific and mathematical explanations to scientists  who would come after him. Jenny invented the ‘Tonoscope’ and was the first to suggest that such a device might one day assist deaf individuals to acquire speech.

Resonance is the key word

Love, music and nature offer the most sublime and uplifting possibilities of resonance. To activate a resonance with higher aspects of oneself there are many circumstances in everyday life, such as listening to beautiful music, meeting an ispiring person, being moved by the beauty of an unusual landscape, enjoying the sunset etc..

When this resonance is blocked we suffer; we are out of balance with the higher aspects of ourselves. Resonance is the most important principle of sound healing and has various definitions. It can be described as the frequency of vibration that is most natural for healing humans or animals, it affects specific organs such as the lungs, liver or heart. This kind of resonance is known as the primate resonance.

The art of sound healing is to create a resonance between the higher self and the body. Healing with a sound is about playing music in a way that enables that human beings, nature and cosmos can come into healing harmony. This can only happen if we respect the reality of the Laws of nature and Cycles of the Universe.

When we talk about vibrational medicine, a major question arises – Do all people vibrate at the same frequency? The answer to this is unknown and it might be that the frequencies of different people vary. This could be an explanation as to why different instruments with different frequencies all seem to succeed. Different methods are used by different practitioners to test and determine the proper frequencies. Some use kinesiology (muscle testing), others pendulums or radionics. There is even a system of sound healing which uses a method of determining missing frequencies found in the voice (by having the client speak into a voice analyzer) which when added (via listening to a tape) will supposedly restore the body to a state of health.

The role of intention in sound healing

The power of intention involves consciously drawing on the universal field of energy. Utilizing this potent, universal force along with healing sounds has been found to dramatically accelerate the healing process.

Sound is a highly effective tool for healing and, fortunately, an individual does not need to believe in it for it to work. However, there is another factor that can greatly amplify the effectiveness of healing: creative intention. It may be a long time before mainstream medicine recognizes the importance of intention. In contrast, most vibrational energy practitioners, including sound healing therapists, use a holistic approach that addresses both mind and body. When the power of intention is held, the chances of a successful outcome are greatly intensified.

Intention consists of using your focused thoughts, feelings and visualizations to attract whatever is desired, such as enhancing ones health. It seems possible that the energy of intention is carried on the frequencies of sound. American sound healer, Dr Steven Halpern, believes that, "Sound is a carrier wave of consciousness. intention is the spiritual counterpart of the sound and the combination of sound and intention create the outcome of healing. When using creative intention, there is the sense of being deeply inspired. (The word inspiration means in-spirit.) We are motivated to respond to a deeper calling with a firm belief, an absolute knowing, that our desire has already been fulfilled. When we merge the mind energizing force with the universal field of energy for the purpose of healing and creation, our health and the quality of our lives can be transformed.

Naturally, since we now know of the inter-relationship between the mind and the body, that which affects the emotional or mental will also effect the physical and vice-versa. This includes the spiritual body as well, of course.

Whenever we think a negative thought or feel a negative emotion, we shoot 12 volts of electricity into our energy field. Negative thoughts land in our mental subtle body. Heavy emotions land in our astral (emotional) subtle field. If we obsess about our negative thought or feeling, we can send a shock of electricity into our field every three minutes! Multiply this by the number of years of obsession with a problem, and that’s a lot of electricity!

How it works?

Through the use of sound we are able to transform and restore resonance to mind, body and spirit.

To enable an understanding of how Sound Healing works, it is useful to realise that everything in creation is actually energy, vibrating at different frequencies. Modern physicists continue to find evidence to support this belief.

Sound Healing is the therapeutic application of sound frequencies to the body & mind of a person, with the intent of bringing them into a state of harmony & health. In general, the more harmonious & pleasing this sound is, the more beneficial it is to us for healing purposes. Different areas of the body respond to the sounds made, “by locking in” or entraining to the sound and begines to vibrate at the same frequencies, thus bringing harmony & heath.

Sound Healing works on the principle that everything in the Universe is energy in vibration. Behind perceived reality is an incredible cosmic dance of interconnected energy fields.

What is Brainwave Entrainment?

Basically, it involves exposing your brain to periodic stimuli like pulses of light or sound.

Brainwave entrainment audios use technology based on scientific brain research, in order to guide your brain into a desired wave frequency and thus minimise conscious interference, allowing you to relax and let go of negative thinking.

With brainwave entrainment you are able to bring your brainwaves to a desirable frequency and in the process achieve a mental state that is associated with it. As you use any of your senses, this stimulates your brain, which emits an electrical charge in response to these stimuli.

This process is not difficult to master, it is basically simple listening to tones, while your brainwaves naturally match the frequency associated with that particular sound.

Brainwave Entrainment Therapy is very simply, affordable method for anyone to go into higher potential of your brain for any kind of change you want. Remember, human body heals its seld. There’s no training or speciall practice needed, you need just a little time for your self and half hour of our Healing Frequencies and in short period of time you will witness magnificent change in your life.

Schumann resonance

The Schumann resonances are a set of spectrum peaks in the extremely low frequency  portion of the Earth’s electromagnetic field spectrum. Schumann resonances are global electromagnetic resonances, excited by lightning discharges in the cavity formed by the Earth’s surface and the ionosphere.

This global electromagnetic resonance phenomenon is named after physicist Winfried Otto Schumann who predicted it mathematically in 1952. Schumann resonances occur because the space between the surface of the Earth and the conductive ionosphere acts as a closed waveguide. The limited dimensions of the Earth cause this waveguide to act as a resonant cavity for electromagnetic waves in the ELF band. The cavity is naturally excited by electric currents in lightning. Schumann resonances are the principal background in the electromagnetic spectrum between 3 and 69 Hz, and appear as distinct peaks at extremely low frequencies (ELF) around 7.83, 14.3, 20.8, 27.3 and 33.8 Hz.[citation needed]

In the normal mode descriptions of Schumann resonances, the fundamental mode is a standing wave in the Earth–ionosphere cavity with a wavelength equal to the circumference of the Earth. This lowest-frequency (and highest-intensity) mode of the Schumann resonance occurs at a frequency of approximately 7.83 Hz, but this frequency can vary slightly from a variety of factors, such as solar-induced perturbations to the ionosphere, which comprises the upper wall of the closed cavity[citation needed]. The higher resonance modes are spaced at approximately 6.5 Hz intervals[citation needed], a characteristic attributed to the atmosphere’s spherical geometry. The peaks exhibit a spectral width of approximately 20% on account of the damping of the respective modes in the dissipative cavity. The eighth overtone lies at approximately 59.9 Hz.[citation needed]

This was confirmed in 1954 when measurements by Schumann and König detected resonances at a main frequency of 7.83 Hz. In the years following this discovery, several investigators worldwide have researched “Schumann resonance” and a number of properties and characteristics have now been established.

Dr Ankermueller, a physician, immediately made the connection between the Schumann resonance and the alpha rhythm of brainwaves. He found the thought of the earth having the same natural resonance as the brain very exciting

the main frequency produced by Schumann oscillations is very close to the frequency of alpha rhythms.

This is probably the most useful known frequency. PET scans show that cerebral blood flow in the back of the brain occurs most at this frequency (P. Fox, M. Raichle). Studies of the most advanced meditators have repeatedly shown 7.8 to be a significant frequency (M. Cade). It is also referred to as theHypnagogic state. More spiritual experiences have been reported using this frequency than any other. Out of body experiences have also been reported. The Harmonics of this frequency also appear to have some of the same effects.

anti-jetlag, anti-mind control, improved stress tolerance; psychic healing; pituitary stimulation to release growth hormone (helps develop muscle, recover from injuries, rejuvenation effects); Earth Resonance Frequency – ‘leaves you feeling revitalized like you’ve spent a day in the country.’; reports of accelerated healing/enhanced learning – “the earth’s natural brainwave”.

Although Schumann Resonance could easily be confirmed by measurements at the time of its discovery, it is no longer so obvious due to our atmosphere being filled with manmade radiation noise at different frequencies. This is almost drowning out the natural signals – signals that have been there through aeons of evolution. It is possible that these signals act like a natural tuning fork, not just for the biological oscillators of the brain, but for all processes of life.

Pink & White Noise

Pink noise or 1/ƒ noise is a signal or process with a frequency spectrum such that the power spectral density (energy or power per Hz) is inversely proportional to the frequency. In pink noise, each octave carries an equal amount of noise power.

Pink noise is similar to white noise, it also contains the wide range frequency signal in the spectrum. It is commonly found in nature environment. Unlike white noise, listening pink noise is more comfortable. The sound is quite similar to ocean. Some people play it in the office for relaxation and concentration.

Pink noise is a variant of white noise. Pink noise is white noise that has been filtered to reduce the volume at each octave. This is done to compensate for the increase in the number of frequencies per octave. Each octave is reduced by 6 decibels, resulting in a noise sound wave that has equal energy at every octave.

Pink noise is signal present on the frequency scale which helps in reducing the background noises. It is called Pink noise because it is placed in between the white and the red noise on the scale of frequency spectrum. Physicists also express this noise as the1/f noise or even flicker noise and is found to have equal force of energy in almost all the octaves. We as humans do not have the power to perceive all the existing frequencies with the same intensity. For us, the frequencies which lie between the ranges of 2 to 4 kHz can be a loud sound. When we hear such loud noise, we cannot interpret the other sound frequencies clearly.

Pink noises have been found to be present in various other systems naturally. According to the astronomers, the electromagnetic radiations from outer space have shown the presence of pink noise in the radiations which are emitted by particular stars. Almost all the electronic equipments and gadgets have been found to generate this noise as it is found in carbon composite resistors. Herein it is known by the name of flicker noise. Even in the biological field, the heart beat or the DNA sequence statistics have been found to produce pink noise.

White noise is the randomly generated noise signal. The signal has equal power in all frequency. Some people suggested that it is good to use white noise for burn-in, because of its fair distribution of each sound frequency, from treble to bass. Aside from headphone burn-in, some people use it to help baby sleep easier.

White noise is a sound that contains every frequency within the range of human hearing (generally from 20 hertz to 20 kHz) in equal amounts. Most people perceive this sound as having more high-frequency content than low, but this is not the case. This perception occurs because each successive octave has twice as many frequencies as the one preceding it. For example, from 100 Hz to 200 Hz, there are one hundred discrete frequencies. In the next octave (from 200 Hz to 400 Hz), there are two hundred frequencies.

Vibration is a mechanical phenomenon whereby oscillations occur about an equilibrium point. The oscillations may be periodic such as the motion of a pendulum orrandom such as the movement of a tire on a gravel road.

Vibration is occasionally “desirable”. For example the motion of a tuning fork, the reed in a woodwind instrument or harmonica, or the cone of a loudspeaker is desirable vibration, necessary for the correct functioning of the various devices.

More often, vibration is undesirable, wasting energy and creating unwanted sound – noise. For example, the vibrational motions of engines, electric motors, or anymechanical device in operation are typically unwanted. Such vibrations can be caused by imbalances in the rotating parts, uneven friction, the meshing of gear teeth, etc. Careful designs usually minimize unwanted vibrations.

The Origin of the Experience of Binaural Beats

We know that the experience of putting a given frequency tone in one ear and a slightly different tone in the other is that of hearing a third tone which is the difference in frequency of the two tones. Thus, putting a 200 Hz tone in one ear and a 210 Hz tone in the other would cause one to perceive a 10 Hz “beat” tone. An auditory brainstem response which originates in the superior olivary nucleus of each hemisphere.  The beat results from the interaction of two afferent auditoxy impulses, originating in opposite ears, below 1000 Hz; and which differ in frequency between one and 30 Hz.” The difference tone is experienced as the two waveforms flow in and out of phase within the superior olivary nuclei. The first reported use of the auditory effects of binaural beats, as detailed by Oster (1973), occurred in 1839. The originator was H. W. Dove, a German researcher.

Today, the binaural beat phenomenon is employed by a number of audiotape manufactures as a way of producing certain relaxed states in the listener. Foster examined, as part of his dissertation study, the degree to which these binaural beats at alpha frequency could result in an increase in alpha. He found that the binaural beats did indeed produce an increase in the occurrence of alpha however, another group which heard artificially produced surf sounds also showed a comparable increase in alpha. These two groups did not differ  ignificantly. Subjects did find that they seemed to be able to increase alpha more by concentrating on the binaural beat.
